Merry Christmas everyone!
We trust that all our families will have an amazing Christmas with their loved ones, spend some time to recharge and prepare for the 2018 year ahead.
December sees the close of a massive 12 months at Timber Tots – and our first graduating class leaving us to go to ‘Big School’. We would like to wish the entire Kindergarten Class of 2017 good luck for all their future endeavours. You will be missed and you will always be welcomed back to say hello if you are coming past the Centre.
We saw a number of new additions added to Timber Tots the past few weeks. Our flag poles are now installed and proudly fly the Australian, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags each day. A new fort was constructed in the 0-2 year old playground and Eden’s Garden received a face lift with a new mud pit and water pump station added – which the children love. We celebrated Diwali, Halloween, Melbourne Cup, Steve Irwin Day, had a Speech Development Parent Information Session and entertained the QLD Department of Education for our first Assessment and Rating. We expect to see the results of A&R before Christmas and will keep everyone informed as this progresses.
Finally, we look forward to welcoming all of our new children and families to Timber Tots in 2018, for what will be another action packed year ahead.
We hope you enjoy the video showing small parts of some of the things we have done this year.
