A quick update from all of us at Timber Tots Child Care. We have had a fun few months this year and hope you have all enjoyed the range of events and experiences provided so far – with lots more to come.

Most recently we once again held our annual Mother’s Day events. And once again it appeared as though all who attended had a great time. Our Mum’s obviously mean a lot to our little one’s, so it is very important to us that this time of the year is extremely well celebrated.

ANZAC Day is also a very special time for us. It was great to see how well everyone marched, listened and participated on the day. We were very proud of all the children who attended.

We have continued to add small structures and elements to our outdoor play environments through the past quarter – keeping in mind that we continue to set the benchmark for child care in Brisbane. The new music instrument and fixed structures in the playgrounds have been well received and encourage the children to investigate areas of the Centre which were previously under-used. Undoubtedly the new cubby house in our Echidna playground is extremely popular. We are certain that there will be plenty of tea parties held there in the future.

Recently, our outdoor education and nature play program was industry recognised, and saw Timber Tots host a tour as part of the Early Childhood Summit 2019. The delegates represented child care centre’s from around the country and came to understand how nature play can be effectively implemented in every service. It was a great experience for us to be involved in and gives credit to the depth of our offering.

Finally, a big congratulations to Miss Stephy and Miss Aliena who recently got engaged, to Miss Lauren who recently got married and to Miss Kim who is taking time off for Maternity Leave. We also welcome back Miss Lauren who is returning from Maternity Leave and Miss Steph and Miss Tammy who have returned from their individual journey’s with cancer.
