As the year continues to fly by and the 2017 financial year comes to an end, we reflect on what has been an amazing 12 months.  Our children, parents and educators have all significantly contributed to the loving family culture that has developed within Timber Tots.

Overall, June saw some great initiatives, changes and additions to the Centre.

We are proud to say that we successfully held our first Parent Information Events.  Sleep specialist, Dr. Burgess provided some inspiring advice and direction to our parents and educators on the importance of sleep and some strategies to implement to overcome certain behaviours and disorders.

We also welcomed Dr. Clem and the wonderful team from Seven Hills Family Doctors who presented some great tips to Stay Healthy in Child Care and key symptoms to look out for with common diseases.

Our first ever Movie Night was also held during the past month, allowing a number of our parents to enjoy a quiet night out whilst the children who attended had a great time watching Toy Story whilst devouring pizza and popcorn.

Other major events included the final piece of artwork being delivered to Eden’s Garden, the Celebration of Under 8’s week and our Centre Photo Week where 194 children had their photos taken on and off site – a massive feat in itself.

We hope you enjoyed this update.
