What an amazing couple of months our children have had, participating in a wide range of events, activities and experiences. We hope that each of these has made a positive impact on their lives and that there continues to be continual learning, growth and development with every undertaking we make at Timber Tots.

Most recently, our holidaying lambs have returned home to Coonabarabran and their time with us has had a fundamental impact on all of us who interacted with them. Dot and Dasher brought an awareness of the plight our Australian Farmers are facing day to day and allowed our educators to delve into what they contribute and how important our Farmers are to the people of Australia. Our fundraising effort saw a massive $4,318 raised which we were able to contribute directly to the Coonabarabran community. Vouchers for the local Rural Produce store were distributed to 21 families not only helping the farmers buy much needed items but also helping to support the local businesses which are suffering. We wish to thank everyone who was able to put forward a donation and we know first hand that the thoughts and support mean a lot.

Throughout the second half of the year, please keep your eye out for upcoming events at the Centre. We have an action packed final few months leading into Christmas and look forward to having everyone who is involved in these opportunities, whenever interested. For our Fathers Day Event, we look forward to seeing all our Dad’s in our Man Cave for what we hope will be a chance to relax and socialize.

As always, if there is ever anything you would like to see added to our service, or any great ideas you believe would improve your children’s day to day involvement – please don’t hesitate to grab one of us for a chat, send us an email or pick up the phone!
